Wellness Centers are spa-like facilities that offer medical care and procedures in a relaxing environment. They don't look like traditional doctor's offices, instead providing clients with the best of both worlds: medical care and treatments from trained professionals in an innovative and refreshing environment.
Wellness Centers specialize in mid-level services such as facial injections to reverse the signs of aging, as well as chemical peels, laser hair removal and other non-surgical treatments designed to perk up the skin and boost self-confidence.
In a Wellness Center, the employees performing the treatments must be nurse practitioners, physician's assistants or medical doctors. The required credentials vary from state to state, with Florida being among the most restrictive in terms of who can administer drugs and other treatments.
